Combining the many talents of Danny Bowes, Luke Morley and Garry 'Harry’ James, all ex-members of Terraplane, with additional musicians Mark 'Snake’ Luckhurst and Ben Matthews, is the English hard rock band Thunder. Formed in 1989, the band recorded their first album 'Back Street Symphony’ before opening the 1990 'Monsters of Rock’ festival at Donington Park. Though there have been a couple of changes of bass player *Mikael Hoglund replaced Mark Luckhurst, then was replaced by Chris Childs) Thunder’s live performances over the last two decades have met universal praise, and with 9 studio albums and a number of compilation albums the band are firmly rooted within the rock world. 2009 saw them decide to call it a day, playing a sell-out 8 date tour at some of the most iconic UK venues, with songs from the past twenty years reminding fans, both new and old what rock is really about!
