The second release on the recently established Ho_Tep records comes from Letherette.
Already getting spins from the likes of Brackles, Sinden, Benji B, Gilles Peterson and of course label boss Alexander Nut, the EP is eight tracks of dusty, sample heavy rhythms… rich in melody, swing and soul.
Letherette consists of two producers – Andy Harbor and Richard Roberts – old school friends of Alexander Nut’s, the Wolverhampton based duo recently featured on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Bubblers compilation after 'In July Focus’ began doing the rounds and turning the heads of a number of reputable Dj’s. Their BTS Radio podcast has become musical folklore, we suggest you go seek it out!
