Announcing the new single from EDMX alias Computor Rockers:
This record is about as old school as you can get – analogue synth bass over crisp LinnDrum beats with a tight vocoder rap enticing you onto the dancefloor. Add some dirty handclaps and a few funky keyboard licks and that about wraps it up for 5 minutes of funk, Computor Rock style.
It¹s one for the old-school B-boys & girls, lockers & poppers, in the tradition of classic vocoder jamms from Grandmaster Flash¹s ³Scorpio² to Jonzun Crew¹s ³Space Is The Place², with no concessions to the new jacks colonizing the electro scene these daze.
EDMX is still DJing and playing live all around the world, putting out da hits (this is about the 55th record on Breakin¹) and producing his new DMX Krew album.
Your feedback and comments are much needed in these testing times (MP3 is killing home taping). Please send an email or give us a ring with your feedback / comments / reviews so we can try and talk some record shops into stocking our music instead of another shelf-load of ³TV Hits Of Blah / Best Of Whatever (I Forgot)² major label CDs.
PEACE!’
